Piano, Trumpet, & Voice
Helena Kim, a seventeen-year-old pianist from Wayne, New Jersey, is a senior currently attending Wayne Hills High School. Starting her music training at the age of four years old, Helena has competitively played piano. A student of Natela Mchedlishvili at the Manhattan School of Music Pre-College Program, she rigorously plays solo and chamber music (New York Youth Symphony Chamber Music Program 23-24, 25-26). She is devoted to Zooming Thru Music, committed the mission of "outreaching to the isolated." In her free time, Helena likes to play guitar, read, and write.

Sophia Kim is a Junior at Harvard College. She is a graduate of Wayne Hills High School and the Juilliard Pre-College Program, where she studied piano with Hung-Kuan Chen and Tema Blackstone. After realizing the serious effects of social isolation firsthand, Sophia has committed to helping others feel a sense of connection to the outside world. In her free time, Sophia likes to draw, write stories, read, and play tennis.

Esen Edeer is currently a senior attending Wayne Hills High school. She is a part of the Wayne Hills band, being the vice president of the Tri-M honor society, and is also a manager for their girls volleyball team. Manya Madan is a junior at Montville Township High School in New Jersey. She has been playing the piano since childhood and also enjoys singing. A passionate music lover, she listens to a wide range of genres, with R&B and House being her favorite. Her favorite artists are The Weeknd, Micheal Jackson, and SZA. Outside of music, Manya enjoys reading books, going on runs, tutoring elementary students, and volunteering in her community and at her school.Manya Madan

Matthew Kwon is currently a senior at Montclair Kimberley Academy. He fell in love with the piano at just seven years old and performs in his school's concert band and pep band. Beyond music, he proudly serves as the junior class president and leads our debate team, passionately engaging in spirited discussions. Jay Ahn is a junior at Ridgewood High School with a lifelong passion for music. He began playing piano at age 5 and currently studies under Dr. Adrienne Kim at the Manhattan School of Music. In 2023, he founded the Bergen Chapter in collaboration with Helena Kim of Zooming Thru Music to expand volunteer services in Bergen County to reach out the isolated, demonstrating both initiative and leadership. In his free time, Ahn enjoys listening to and playing music, exploring new topics, and spending time with his friends.

Kevin Seojin Kim lives in Ridgewood, New Jersey, and he is a senior. He has been playing the clarinet 7 years, and started learning the trumpet as a hobby. He has gone to Regional band, and other audition-form ensembles/ orchestras. He was a part of the high school marching band. He likes to play and listen to music and hang out with his friends.
